Concept and creation of Douyin/TikTok channel for New Silk Route Digital, with a focus on promoting children’s literature. Managed and created content for the brand’s other social platforms, such as Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.

Confident, engaging scripts helped to create a channel which received 33K followers within one year. One video alone on British phrases received 112K views. Our received pronunciation video achieved 250K views.
Along with videos explaining British phrases, our content focused on children’s literature, with one of our one Harry Potter book review recieving 8000K views.
Within the first month of posting to Douyin, we received 3661 followers, with over 1.3K views on our first Harry Potter video and high engagement with our Diary of a Wimpy kid review.

Nominated and shortlisted for the ‘Creative Bath Awards 2021 Creative Student’. This nomination was made by a member of the media community outside of the company.

Jane Austen Centre Promotional Video
Following the pandemic, the brand created videos to support local businesses in the Bath area. This included the Jane Austen Centre, Roman Baths, and local bookshops such as Mr Bs.
The scripts I created were engaging, informative, and helped to showcase local businesses especially to readers.
